“King County, Washington’s mooring program is designed to collect continuous oceanographic and meteorological data every 15 minutes in Central Puget Sound. The high-frequency time series dataset allows us to track long-term trends, interannual variability, and spatial differences between our deployment sites. The data are publicly available and routinely used by various organizations including NANOOS, UW-APL, and the Seattle Aquarium.” – Greg Ikeda, King County

Instruments with current versions (SBE 16plus V2, SBE 19plus V2, SBE 25plus, and SUNA V2) will still be fully supported and serviced. SBE 16plus V1, SBE 16plus-IM V1, and SBE 19plus V1 will remain in Best Effort Service. For more information, please visit our Discontinued Models page.
